Mediation

Dialogue as a starting point for addressing differences.

Public mediation background

The Australian Disputes Centre publicly described Mauricio Panizo García as an NMAS Mediator in 2021.

This historical mediation reference does not imply authorisation to practise law in Australia or accreditation as an extrajudicial conciliator in Peru.

What mediation is for

Mediation provides a structured process for understanding differences and exploring voluntary agreements. The mediator facilitates dialogue and does not impose a decision. Suitability and process design depend on the context, participants and applicable rules.

Distinguish the frameworks

Regulated extrajudicial conciliation in Peru should be distinguished from mediation in general. Mediation training alone does not establish accreditation as a Peruvian extrajudicial conciliator.
